I came back to the Department of Psychology UCPH in March 2014, where I also obtained my Psychology degree in 2001. From 2001 to 2014, I completed my PhD on scholarship at the Danish University of Education, and have been employed at several other Danish universities. I am part of two research groups: PCARe (Psychological Cross-disciplinary and Applied Research and I continued the PsychMeasure group, which I co-founded at the University of Southern Denmark. In 2016, I founded the Danish Measurement Network (DM), where a group of researchers with a common background and measurement interest meet four times a year.

My main research interests are two-fold: Applied Psychometrics, particularly development, adaptation and translation of psychological measurement scales for use in Higher Education Psychology and Health-related Psychology (http://psychology.ku.dk/research/research_groups/pcare/research/psychmeasure/). Higher Education Psychology, both psychometrically, and focused on other issue related to cognitive styles and strategies, motivation, self-efficacy, Psychological barriers for learning statistics, student and teacher learning processes and outcomes, and student well-being (http://www.psy.ku.dk/Forskning/forskergrupper/pcare/forskning/youth-gaming-project/).

I’m Associate Editor (Psychomtrics and Higher Education) at the Scandinavian Journal of Educational Research, and member of a number of research and teaching interest groups including European Rasch Teaching Group (ERTG), an International Rasch discussion group (Matilda Bay), International Study Association for Teachers and Teaching (ISATT), European Association for Research in Teaching and Learning (EARLI), and more.
